Biography
Phil Theesfeld has been representing insurance carriers in property, workers compensation and medical payments subrogation matters for over 20 years. An experienced trial attorney, Phil has tried numerous cases to verdict and is one of only a handful of Wisconsin attorneys to have prevailed in a Rimes (made-whole) hearing. Outside the courtroom, Phil helps clients with their recovery efforts by assisting with claim investigations, coordinating evidence and scene preservation, and placing the correct parties on notice of a loss. Phil works closely with fire investigators, electrical and mechanical engineers and materials experts to make sure that losses are investigated thoroughly and cost-effectively. Timely and consistent claim evaluations and reporting are the hallmarks of his dedication to first-rate customer service.
Phil is an active member in the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) and is a frequent speaker at the NASP Annual Conference. Phil is the co-founder of the Wisconsin Subrogation Association.
